Principal's Message
 
Dear Mattie Families,

Fall Parent Teacher Conferences are around the corner! If you have not yet scheduled your conference, please contact your child's teacher to do so. Conferences are a time to learn about your child's progress, ask clarifying questions, and work as a team to support our students.

Parent Teacher Conferences are November 18th - 22nd. These are also minimum days for all TK-2nd grade students, so please plan accordingly.

Jaggy Pride Assembly for November

This year, each assembly will be representing a different "Behavior Goal". For November, our behavior goal is T-flex: Flexible Thinking. 

Parents are welcome to join us in the MPR and celebrate your student as they receive a Proud Paw Award!

If your student has been selected to receive the award, your student's Teacher will be sending out the invitation prior to the assembly date. Please keep in mind, this is a SURPRISE for your little one!

The assembly this month is on Friday, November 8th.

Kinder - 12:20-12:45
1st Grade - 12:50-1:10
TK - 1:15-1:35

Mattie's Jaggy Store
Our students visit our Jaggy Store every week and get to pick any prize for all their great behavior. We would like to keep our Jaggy Store open as visiting the store enlightens our students to gain more Jaggy tickets to be able to spend in our store. Mattie would appreciate donations to keep the store well stocked.

Early Pick-Up Protocol
If you are picking-up your student(s) during school hours for any reason at all, we would like you to know our school's policy:

             --The office staff cannot call a student up to the office until the parent or person picking up is in the office. 

            -- The Teacher is unable to send the student to the office for early pick-up until they receive a call from the office.

**** If you are picking up your child during recess, it may take longer for them to reach the office for early pick-up. This is due to the time it takes to gather students from the playground.
To ensure a smoother process, we recommend arriving a little earlier or waiting until recess ends.****
Youth Mental Health Support
SCOE has introduced consultations and workshops for families to connect and learn more about youth mental health. If interested, please look over the fliers attached.

Time: Doors open at 5:30PM, Movie starts at 6PM

**Please bring your own blankets and chairs. Popcorn and candy will be available for purchase**
